Accounts Payable Clerk – QuickBooks Desktop

$14.00–$18.00 per hour (DOE)
Plainview, TX

Dairy/Farm operation is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk with hands-on experience in QuickBooks Desktop.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting daily accounting operations and keeping financial processes running smoothly:
• Process and verify vendor invoices with speed and accuracy
• Enter accounts payable transactions into QuickBooks Desktop
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Prepare and execute check runs and electronic payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain clear, organized financial records
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams
• Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is reliable, organized, and detail-focused:
• Previous accounts payable experience • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
• Strong data entry and organizational skills
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
