Lead DevOps Automation Engineer

Salary: $149,469 - 213,019 per year Requirements:

• We need 6+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or cloud engineering.
• We look for proven leadership in enterprise-scale automation initiatives.
• We require strong hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab, Jenkins, Bamboo, CircleCI, and TravisCI.
• We need advanced scripting and automation capability in Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, or C#.
• We expect a solid grasp of cloud security, IAM, and network access management in AWS and/or Azure.
• We require strong command-line proficiency with Bash or PowerShell for operating system administration, including package management, service setup, logging, process and resource monitoring, and network configuration.
• We look for experience creating, deploying, and coordinating code changes using Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or Elastic Container Service.
• We need experience with AWS and Azure, including network and access security and infrastructure-as-code deployment for modern web and data applications.
• We value a strong background in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Packer.
• We look for familiarity with DORA metrics, DevOps Research and Assessment, and Agile methodologies.
• We require excellent communication skills, including experience working with executive stakeholders and decision-makers.

• We lead the design and implementation of enterprise DevOps solutions aligned with business objectives.
• We define and uphold DevOps best practices across multiple teams, improving pipeline scalability and efficiency.
• We architect and manage automated infrastructure deployments in cloud environments.
• We guide security integration into CI/CD pipelines to support compliance with industry standards.
• We optimize test automation approaches to strengthen reliability and deployment confidence.
• We develop test data management solutions to support high-quality automated testing.
• We influence tool and technology decisions for version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
• We mentor and provide technical guidance to other DevOps Engineers.
• We communicate DevOps strategy and progress to stakeholders and clients.
