The Associate Director will partner with the broader Corporate Strategy team, senior leadership, and subject matter experts across the Firm to evaluate growth opportunities, develop strategic recommendations, and drive execution of key initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development of the Firm’s strategic plan and support execution against key strategic priorities.Conduct diligence and develop recommendations regarding potential new investment strategies, products, businesses, and other growth opportunities.Lead cross-functional initiatives to build new capabilities, enhance existing capabilities, and improve the Firm’s operating model.Conduct rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis, including market research, competitive assessment, financial modeling, and business-case development.Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and key stakeholdersInterfacesThe Associate Director will report to the Head of Strategy and work closely with members of the Corporate Strategy team, senior leadership, the Management and Investment Committees, and subject matter experts across and outside the Firm.Qualifications and RequirementsStructured and logical thinker who can rapidly develop expertise in unfamiliar topics and approach complex projects in an organized, process-oriented manner.Intellectually curious, with a demonstrated ability to go beyond surface-level analysis through fact-based research, sound judgment, and resourceful problem solving.Strong analytical capabilities across both quantitative and qualitative disciplines, including financial modeling and business-case development.Highly organized and adaptable, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex analysis into concise, decision-oriented materials for senior audiences.Collaborative and effective working across functions, levels of seniority, and areas of technical expertise.Education, Training, and ExperienceExperience at a leading strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, or Bain); in a buy-side corporate strategy role; or in a role involving the evaluation of investment strategies, investment managers, or related business opportunities.Candidates with strategy consulting backgrounds must have meaningful experience serving financial-services clients and/or prior experience in financial services
