Tax Associate

At Krilogy Tax Services, we work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, and trusts to provide proactive tax planning and compliance services. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for tax preparation, tax planning, and tax-related research while supporting Krilogy’s Tax Managers. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service, maintain strong relationships with our Wealth Advisors and clients, and contribute to a collaborative, integrated planning team environment. Perform duties that support the Tax Managers in daily business practices, including but not limited to: tax compliance, preparation of Individual Tax Returns (1040) and Trust Returns (1041), and related tax planning projects. Experience with tax software such as Lacerte or similar platforms preferred. Compile and organize supporting client tax/financial statements and documents. Conduct tax research and assist with preparing written tax guidance, client communications, and recommendations. Work closely with Wealth Advisors as part of an integrated planning team to execute tasks and projects for Krilogy Tax clients, including managing applicable client communication. Assist with client billing responsibilities, as requested. Help manage client relationships and deliver responsive client service. Practice Krilogy’s Values and Rules of Engagement. Qualifications: Strong planning and organization skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and coworkers Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and with accuracy Ability to maintain the integrity of sensitive and confidential information Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercise sound judgment, and proactively identify and implement solutions.
