Gotham Bar and Grill, one of NYC's most acclaimed restaurants, is looking for an EXPERIENCED Line Cook!
Applicants MUST have prior experience in FINE DINING establishments. This is an excellent career opportunity for those who wish to progress in the culinary industry, and work in one of NYC's most legendary kitchens! Essential Functions:• Responsible for the execution of menu items assigned to them
• Upholds timeliness of orders from the kitchen to the dining room
• Ensures all food products are prepared to standard recipes to maintain Gotham Bar and Grill standards
• Has a complete understanding of work safety and emergency procedures
• Follows and completes daily tasks
• Consistently maintains organization and cleaning standards Qualifications and Job Requirements:
• At least one year of previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Excellent knife skills
• Understanding of all food and safety guidelines
