We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) / Med-Surg Telemetry for a 13-week contract in Bangor, Maine. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and cardiac patients requiring telemetry and progressive care monitoring.

This position requires strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple patient care priorities in a fast-paced inpatient environment. Previous telemetry experience is preferred.

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide individualized nursing care according to established plans of care and provider orders.

• Monitor cardiac and telemetry patients for changes in clinical condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.

• Administer medications and treatments safely while evaluating patient responses and reporting significant findings.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate safe and effective patient care.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while supporting patient safety, continuity of care, and established nursing standards.

• Minimum 3 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required; Telemetry Experience Preferred.

• Current, Active Maine Registered Nurse License Required.

• Current BLS Certification Required or Must Be Obtained Within 30 Days of Hire.

• Current ACLS Certification Required or Must Be Obtained Within 30 Days of Hire.

• Strong Communication, Teamwork, and Multitasking Skills Required; Bachelor's Degree and MOAB or CPI Certification Preferred.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced Med-Surg Telemetry or CPCU RN seeking a 36-hour night-shift assignment in Bangor, Maine.
