The Associate Recruiter will own the full candidate experience for non‑management positions across Pressed Cafe, staffing every new store opening ahead of launch and keeping existing restaurants fully staffed. Partnering directly with the Talent Acquisition Manager and store‑level hiring managers, this role builds the pipelines, drives the outreach, and manages the scheduling that turns open requisitions into great hires. The ideal candidate brings experience in retail, restaurant, or hourly hiring, comfort sourcing and reviewing a high volume of resumes, and exceptional organization across competing priorities. This is a hands‑on, highly visible role where speed and hospitality must coexist. For most of the people you hire, you are their first interaction with Pressed Cafe, and you set the tone for how they feel about joining the team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Associate Recruiter owns the requisitions, the pipelines, and the candidate experience for non‑management roles across the portfolio—staffing every new store ahead of launch and keeping existing restaurants filled. PIPELINE OWNERSHIP & SOURCING Manage open requisitions across multiple new store openings, ensuring each location is fully staffed ahead of launch. Source and identify candidates through Indeed and other platforms, proactively reviewing resumes and building pipelines for each location. Support non‑management hiring at existing restaurants, filling open roles quickly so every location is staffed to run great shifts. CANDIDATE OUTREACH & EXPERIENCE Initiate outreach with engaging, high‑response communication that moves candidates quickly through the process. Maintain a high volume of candidate touchpoints daily while delivering a consistent, positive experience at every stage. SCHEDULING & COORDINATION Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and store‑level hiring managers, owning all logistics and follow‑up. Track candidate status and requisition progress, keeping hiring manager‑facing reports current and accurate. PARTNERSHIP & PIPELINE HEALTH Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition Manager to understand role requirements, opening timelines, and location‑specific hiring needs. Flag pipeline risks early and take initiative to accelerate sourcing when requisitions are at risk of falling behind. QUALIFICATIONS 1–3 years of experience in retail, restaurant, or hourly hiring. Comfort sourcing and reviewing a high volume of resumes on platforms like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or similar. Strong written communication skills—you write texts and messages that get replies. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball. A proactive, ownership‑oriented mindset—you don’t wait to be told something is behind. Experience working with an ATS (applicant tracking system); familiarity with scheduling or coordination tools is a plus. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Every new store opens fully staffed, on time, with pipelines built well ahead of launch. Candidates move through the funnel quickly, with a consistent, positive experience at every stage. Hiring managers walk into interviews prepared, with logistics handled and reports always current. Pipeline risks get flagged early and closed before they ever threaten an opening date. Every new hire’s first interaction with Pressed Cafe sets the tone we want: fast, warm, and professional. Sourcing and screening get sharper with every opening—you spot a better way, we listen and move on it. Open roles at existing restaurants get the same urgency as new openings—no location runs short‑handed while a req sits open. COMPENSATION & LOCATION This role is based at our Home Office in Nashua, NH (with an on‑site expectation Tues‑Thurs) supporting non‑management hiring for new store openings and existing restaurants across the portfolio.
