About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, News Director to lead its newsroom in the Detroit market. The successful candidate will be a visionary and competitive leader, tasked with reimagining local news and driving the brand's presence across digital and streaming platforms. This role requires an innovative storyteller and dynamic people-leader who can nurture and develop compelling, consumer-focused content that enlightens and empowers the audience. Key responsibilities include executive leadership, team development, and the execution of a multi-platform strategy. The VP, News Director will also be responsible for operational management, upholding journalistic integrity, and building strong community relationships.
