About The Role
RBDisseekingaDesignertosupportaSeniorDesigner,DesignDirector,andPrincipalonallaspectsofdesignprocess,fromInitialDesignStudythroughtoInstallation&Styling.Theidealcandidatewillhave5+yearsofexperienceinhigh-endresidentialinteriordesign,hospitalityinteriordesign,orinteriorarchitecture,withstrongdesignpresentation,communication,anddraftingskills.CandidatewillhaveapassionforandexperienceinFF&EandFF&Asourcingcombinedwithtechnicalacumenandstrongdraftingskills.Aloveofcollaborativeteamworkinafastpacedenvironment,andateamplayermentality–notaskistoobigortoosmall–isamust.
Responsibilities
- DevelopingoveralldesignforprojectsunderthedirectionofaSeniorDesigner,DesignDirector,andPrincipal.
- Developingdesignsketches,layoutsanddetailsunderthedirectionofaSeniorDesigner,DesignDirector,andPrincipal.
- Draftingconstructiondocuments
- DevelopingclientpresentationswithInDesign,Photoshop,andSketchuporsimilarsoftware
- Reviewingengineeringandotherconsultantdrawingsundersupervisiontoensuretheycomplywithdesignintention
- Assistingdesignandimplementationofcustomfurnitureandmillwork
- SourcingFF&EandFF&Aforprojects
- Preparingclientbudgetsandspecificationsforpurchasesasneeded
- Projectmanagingasneeded,suchastaskmanagementandmeetingminutes
Requirements
- BachelordegreeorequivalentexperienceinInteriorDesign,Architectureorrelatedfield
- 5+yearsofinteriordesignexperienceinresidential,hospitality,orcommercialdesign
- HighlyproficientinAutoCAD,InDesignandPhotoshop
- StrongknowledgeofConstructionDocumentation
