Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

The Acute Rehabilitation Unit at Resolute Rehabilitation at Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Round Rock is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physician to serve as Medical Director . This is an exceptional opportunity for a physician leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality inpatient rehabilitation care while helping shape program growth, quality outcomes, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

As Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership for the rehabilitation program. You will partner closely with hospital administration, therapy leadership, nursing, and case management to ensure excellent patient outcomes and compliance with rehabilitation standards.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Demonstrates appropriate experience and training to provide rehabilitation services through one or more of the following:
• A formal residency in PMR
• A fellowship in rehabilitation for a minimum of one year
• Has completed a one year hospital internship with a minimum of two years of training or experience as a collaborative team member in the medical management of inpatients requiring rehabilitation services
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation or qualifying specialty
• Eligible for unrestricted Texas medical licensure.
• DEA certification.
• Prior leadership or Medical Director experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
