Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,360 per week

Job Summary TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in Louisville, Kentucky. The position starts on 06/22/2026 for 13 weeks , with a schedule of 40 hours per week and 10‑hour days . Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 10‑hour days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an IR Tech, you will operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. You will also prepare patients, observe them during the procedure, and report abnormal activity. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patients during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to assure adequate safeguards for patient and operator exposure. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy and physiology, including the location, appearance and function of major and minor systems and physical abnormalities commonly depicted by IR procedures, to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Must have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience. BLS certification. ACLS certification. ARRT (R) National Certification and state‑specific licensure when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
