Medical Director Services PC - Nurse Practitioner (NP) Medical Director Services PC is looking to hire experienced Nurse Practitioners (NP) to service a skilled nursing facility in Syracuse . Provider Duties: Serves as primary care provider to long and short‑term residents, assessing patients’ health through visits, physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories. Participates in team‑based care, collaborating with the attending physician and nursing staff to deliver high‑standard care. Builds relationships with residents and families, educates them, and develops evidence‑based care plans aligned with patients’ needs and desires. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, maintaining awareness of legislation and advising management on necessary actions. Keeps professional knowledge current by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, networking, and participating in professional societies. Maintains a safe, clean work environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations while respecting cultural, personal, and religious beliefs. Reviews and ensures charting, documentation, and care administration are up to date and performed timely and efficiently. Requirements: Health Promotion and Maintenance, Thoroughness, Clinical Skills, Informing Others, Medical Teamwork, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Administering Medication, Pain Management, Self‑Development Must be Board Certified Extensive training will be offered.
