Laboratory Assistant Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead a clinical laboratory team within a hospital system. Key Responsibilities Include Supervising daily laboratory operations and testing activities Ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards Overseeing quality control, quality assurance, and testing accuracy Training, mentoring, and assessing staff performance Performing bench testing and providing technical support Troubleshooting equipment, testing, and workflow issues Monitoring turnaround times and laboratory performance metrics Managing inventory, supplies, and vendor relationships Assisting with hiring, payroll, scheduling, and administration Supporting process improvement initiatives and departmental goals Escalating concerns related to quality, compliance, and operations Participating in performance improvement, education, and special projects Qualifications Include Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field 4–6 years of relevant hospital laboratory experience Experience supervising or leading laboratory staff (preferred) Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality assurance, and compliance Experience troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation Familiarity with laboratory information systems and software Licenses & Certifications New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (CLAB) required ASCP and NCA certifications preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Cherry Hill Free Clinic
