Position Overview:

MLR Healthcare is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our dynamic laboratory team. In this role, you will conduct a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring precise and reliable results that are essential for patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform advanced laboratory tests in microbiology, hematology, chemistry, and blood banking.
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to established protocols and quality control procedures.
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret results and suggest additional testing when required.
Accurately document all procedures and results in compliance with regulatory standards.
Assist in the training and mentoring of new staff and students.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or equivalent from a recognized certifying body (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
