Chief Architect (System Architecting, Requirements & Interfaces)

Position Chief Architect (System Architecting, Requirements & Interfaces) – P‑8A Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) Special Projects Dallas (SPD) – Richardson, TX, 100% onsite. Location & Clearance Richardson, TX – 100% onsite. Active U.S. Top Secret Clearance required (U.S. citizenship). Position Responsibilities Apply interdisciplinary approach to lead activities that plan, design, develop, and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Lead others to evaluate customer/operational needs to define performance requirements, integrate technical parameters, and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Develop solutions that meet Open Mission Systems Architecture requirements. Collaborate with customers to ensure needs, requirements, and commitments are met. Present to internal and external stakeholders with appropriate detail. Support analyses to improve architecture or requirements definition. Support cross‑Boeing mission systems interchanges for maximum leverage and reuse. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non‑U.S. equivalent directly related to the work. 10+ years of experience in development of Mission Systems. 10+ years of experience in technical leadership of engineers. 10+ years of experience in defining system architectures. Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in avionics, Open Architecture, and/or electronic systems development.
