Logistics Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and supply chain industry, is seeking a dedicated and analytical Logistics Analyst to join their team. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department supporting various teams to enhance efficiency and productivity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Logistics Analyst Location: Richmond, VA Pay Range: $17/hr Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM What's the Job? Develop actionable analyses to improve operational productivity and efficiency Maintain and analyze databases, extract information, and develop metrics and scorecards to monitor performance Review reports to identify operational issues across departments, including performance, productivity data, and root causes of errors Create reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and other documentation to support data‑driven decision‑making Utilize systems and software to develop and maintain reporting tools that support business strategies What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent work or military experience At least 1 year of experience in supply chain or logistics operations Proficiency in preparing, importing, and manipulating data in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations Experience with Microsoft Office (Access), and ability to extract data from SAP to develop reports Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications, and database systems What's in it for me?
