Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Analyst – Contract to Hire Position: Supply Chain Analyst Location: Hybrid – 10 remote days each month, must live within 30 minutes of Glen Allen, VA. Pay: $22‑$24 per hour, based on experience. Role Overview This role supports safe, efficient, and compliant vessel operations worldwide and serves as a key communication link between internal teams, vessel operators, and external maritime partners. The position also supports market analysis, reporting, and sales coordination. Market Intelligence & Analysis Collect and distribute market intelligence from various companies, ship brokers, traders, operators, the Baltic Exchange, and other industry sources. Track, analyze, and maintain port disbursement accounts and port restriction data. Build and maintain a strong professional network within the global market. Reporting & Administrative Support Prepare and maintain monthly commission reports and related invoices. Provide internal sales support and communication coverage when team leaders are traveling. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Studies, Operations, Analytics, or related field, or minimum 2+ years of experience in a corporate setting. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, or BI platforms. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual (Spanish is a plus).
