The ideal candidate has prior dental front-office experience, is confident navigating the daily demands of a busy practice and takes pride in both patient experience and personal performance.We are looking for a Dental Patient Coordinator who is reliable, positive, team-oriented, coachable, and eager to grow. If you are someone who welcomes feedback, enjoys working toward goals, and wants to make a meaningful difference for patients, we would love to meet you.What You'll DoWelcome and warmly greet patients, creating a positive first impressionAnswer phones professionally and efficiently, helping patients with questions and scheduling needsSchedule and confirm patient appointments while optimizing the practice scheduleCheck patients in and out accurately and efficientlyVerify dental insurance benefits and assist with understanding patient coverageCollect payments and communicate financial information clearly and professionallyCoordinate treatment appointments and help patients navigate their dental experienceCommunicate effectively with patients, doctors, hygienists, and the rest of the teamProvide compassionate service to patients who may be experiencing dental pain, anxiety, or fearMaintain accurate patient information and documentationUtilize Denticon as our practice management system and Microsoft OfficeBalance multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalismContribute to a positive, collaborative, and accountable team environmentWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Previous dental front-office experienceExperience answering phones and scheduling patientsExperience checking patients in and outWorking knowledge of dental insurance verification and benefitsStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced dental officeStrong attention to detail and follow-throughProfessional, friendly, and confident communication styleReliable, dependable, and committed to being an active member of the teamComfortable learning and using technology and practice management softwareAbility to receive feedback, learn from coaching, and continuously improvePreferred:Experience with DenticonProficiency with Microsoft OfficeBilingual in English and Spanish is a plus and will be compensated accordinglyExperience in a PPO and/or FFS dental practiceFamiliarity with insurance verification, patient estimates, and financial conversationsThe Right Personality MattersWe are a close-knit team, and culture is extremely important to us.
