Profession: Licensed Vocational Nurse Specialty: Long Term Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of Long Term Care experience required License: Michigan Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - BLS must be from AHA - Fingerprinting for Long Term Care in Michigan is a plus Description: Under the direct supervision and/or direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader, you will perform duties to assist staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients. This position requires adherence to established methods and procedures. You will strive for superior performance by consistently providing quality services that contribute positively to the patient and family experience. You will need to recognize and demonstrate an understanding of patient and family-centered care. Attendance is critical to this role, and there is a strict attendance policy that maintains accountability for scheduled shifts. Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalization will be reviewed with supporting evidence. Your commitment to attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position.
