Job Location: Chattanooga, TN Summary: As a Lead Systems Technician , you will be responsible for the Servicing and/or Installation of commercial integrated systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video. Possesses strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills. What You’ll Do: Install/service integrated systems: Completes system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems including integrated burg, card access, video, and fire alarm systems . Troubleshoot integrated systems inhigh-endresidential and commercial applications. Demonstrateproficiencyandunderstanding of the software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by branch. Employ logicand experienceto work throughsystem and integrated systemissues. Assistin design and deployment of projects in concert with local and state building codes and communicate effectively with AHJs. Interact and communicateat all levels of the organization and with external customers.Share knowledge, ideas, and solutions. Train and mentortechnicians: Review work ofEntryLevelthrough Level 2technicians on shared job site and provide training to correct any errors. Responsible for the work done by all techniciansonhis/her jobs What You’ll Need: Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2-years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control). 5+ years industry experience - Preferred. Certification/License: Must possess a Valid Driver’s License. Fire Alarm License - Preferred. Fire Alarm experience - Required. ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - Preferred. NICET Fire or Video Level 2 - Preferred. Communication: Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service. Technical: Understands software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch.
