Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, with rotating nights and weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will deliver high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, providing treatment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in urgent situations.
• Perform key procedures including LP, intubations, TNK, lac repair, suture removal, and splinting.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety and quality standards.
• Keep accurate medical records using EMR Meditech.
• Collaborate with team members to anticipate patient and department needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required by start date.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications must be obtained by start date.
• Preferred: Greater than 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
