Description STATUS: Per Diem LOCATION: Victor Medical Campus DEPARTMENT: ImagingSCHEDULE: Mon-Fri, flexible 4hr ,6hr or 8hr shifts, between hours of 730am-4pm SUMMARY As a Radiologic Tech I, you assist radiologists with imaging procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for radiography of patients in all assigned areas. Maintains accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts. Maintains accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing the RIS/PACS and inpatient charts as necessary. Cleans, restocks, and prepares rooms on a daily basis. Attends hospital and departmental meetings and in-services. Practices and is held accountable for excellent customer service behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned. Excellent patient service skills Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with minimal supervision Exceptional documentation/computer skills and professional behavior REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 years college certificate or equivalent. NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire. Must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. BLS Certification preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision-making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask-fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

PAY RANGE: $28.75 - $38.75

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
