This position supports our hybrid Microsoft and VMware environment and is responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and well-documented systems. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Administration Manage and maintain VMware hosts, virtual machines, Windows Server environments, and supporting infrastructure Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services Monitor system performance, capacity, availability, and reliability across infrastructure platforms Support server lifecycle management including deployment, upgrades, patching, and retirement Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application-related issues Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) including user lifecycle management, Conditional Access, and identity governance Support hybrid identity and cloud integration initiatives Assist with cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Azure administration Security & Compliance Implement and maintain secure system configurations and infrastructure best practices Support vulnerability remediation and security hardening initiatives Participate in patch management and security update processes Maintain privileged access controls and least-privilege security principles Assist with audit readiness activities, evidence collection, and compliance initiatives Support cybersecurity projects and infrastructure security improvements Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity Administer and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication environments Perform regular backup validation and recovery testing Participate in disaster recovery exercises and infrastructure resiliency initiatives Maintain backup, recovery, and business continuity documentation Ensure business-critical systems meet recovery objectives Network & Infrastructure Support Maintain firewall rules, VPN configurations, and secure remote access solutions Assist with network troubleshooting and connectivity issues Support datacenter and infrastructure operations as needed Collaborate with vendors and technology partners to resolve escalated issues Documentation & Operational Excellence Maintain accurate system documentation, network diagrams, standards, and procedures Participate in change management and operational review processes Track infrastructure assets and technology lifecycle activities Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement Contribute to the development of operational standards and best practices End-User Support & Collaboration Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for escalated technical issues Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and support operational needs Train and mentor junior technical staff when appropriate Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotation as required Requirements Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience administering Windows Server environments 3+ years of experience supporting VMware infrastructure Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP Experience with Microsoft 365 administration Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Experience administering backup and recovery solutions Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication Experience with Microsoft Azure services Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation Experience with cybersecurity, compliance, or audit-related initiatives Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment Familiarity with SOC 2, security frameworks, or customer audit requirements Preferred Certifications VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Cisco CCNA or equivalent certification #J-18808-Ljbffr FlexTecs
