Key Responsibilities of the Travel RN - Med Surg

• Provide care for patients with chronic diseases, CHF specialty area, mental health, and addiction services
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage non-titrating cardiac drips
• Perform wound care and dressing changes
• Initiate IVs and administer blood products
• Adapt to various patient care needs and demonstrate clinical flexibility
• Participate in teamwork-driven culture within the department

Requirements of the Travel RN - Med Surg

• 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
