Position Summary

Seven Keys Vacations by Casago is seeking a creative, highly organized Social Media & Content Specialist to bring our properties, destinations, and brand to life across digital channels.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you'll own our day-to-day organic social presence while creating and curating compelling content across social media, blogs, our website, segmented email campaigns, and other guest-facing channels.

This is a hands-on, market-facing role. You'll regularly get out from behind the desk to capture vacation homes, local businesses, events, attractions, and experiences throughout the Florida Keys through photography and video, then transform those assets into content that inspires travelers and strengthens our connection to the community.

We're looking for someone who combines creativity with strong execution and understands that successful destination marketing isn't simply about posting beautiful content - it's about building an active, authentic brand presence that makes people want to experience the Florida Keys for themselves.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Community

• Own the day-to-day organic social media presence for Seven Keys Vacations, including planning, scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
• Create and manage content across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest, while supporting additional platforms as appropriate.
• Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with seasonal priorities and the broader marketing strategy established by the VP of Marketing.
• Engage with followers, guests, local businesses, tourism partners, and community accounts, and monitor comments, messages, mentions, tags, and user-generated content.
• Identify opportunities to grow audiences and strengthen the brand's presence across relevant social channels.

Content Creation

• Regularly travel throughout the Florida Keys to capture original photography and short-form video featuring vacation homes, beaches, local businesses, events, attractions, experiences, and the lifestyle of the keys.
• Edit and repurpose original and curated content for social posts, reels, stories, blogs, website content, email, and other digital marketing needs.
• Maintain organized libraries of photography, video, and other digital assets.

Email, Blog & Digital Content

• Create blog posts, website content, and send segmented emails in coordination with the VP of Marketing and external marketing partners.
• Support seasonal campaigns, promotions, new property launches, partnerships, and other marketing initiatives with timely, brand-appropriate content.
• Ensure content maintains the distinct voice and identity of the brand across channels.

Performance & Trends

• Track organic social performance, including audience growth, reach, engagement, and content performance, and use results to help guide future content.
• Stay current on social media trends, emerging formats, platform changes, and audience behaviors, incorporating relevant opportunities into content planning.
• Collaborate with the VP of Marketing, local teams, and external partners to support broader marketing goals.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience managing social media channels and creating digital content for a business or organization.
• Strong photography, short-form video editing, writing, copywriting, and visual storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, content best practices, and community engagement.
• Outgoing and comfortable engaging with the public, approaching new people, and building relationships within the local community.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with local and remote team members.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to regularly travel throughout the Florida Keys.
• Must reside in or within reasonable commuting distance of Key West (preferred) or Marathon, Florida.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within tourism, hospitality or real estate industries is preferred.
• Experience launching or growing social media channels, with the focus on the brand, destination, and audience rather than the content creator.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable photo and video editing tools.
• Experience creating blog and website content with an understanding of basic SEO principles.
• Experience photographing or marketing homes, hospitality properties, tourism attractions or destinations.

Compensation, Benefits & Schedule

Hourly Rate $20-$25 depending on experience

Location & Schedule

• Florida Keys | Local, Market-Facing Role
• Candidates must reside in or within reasonable commuting distance of Key West (preferred) or Marathon, Florida .
• This position requires regular in-market work throughout the Florida Keys to capture properties, businesses, attractions, events, and destination experiences firsthand.
• Flexibility to work remotely is available on occasions when responsibilities do not require an in-market presence.
• Reliable transportation and regular travel throughout the market are required.
• Evening and weekend availability may be required to capture properties, events, experiences, and timely destination content.
