We believe in empowering our employees, fostering collaboration, and delivering top-quality products that set industry standards.We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Associate to support operations at our Dix, IL Distribution Center.About the RoleAs a Yard Associate, you will play an important role in maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient yard environment. This position is with a primary focus on equipment handling, auto pool cover management, and general yard maintenance. This is a great entry point for someone looking to grow with a dynamic company in the swimming pool industry.What You'll DoSafely handle and move pool equipment, auto covers, and related materials within the distribution yard.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, including routine upkeep and minor maintenance tasks.Assist with inventory organization and ensure proper storage of equipment and covers.Support the loading and unloading of trucks as needed.Follow all safety protocols and help maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.Work collaboratively with the distribution team to meet daily operational goals.Perform other yard-related duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForEducation & Experience:Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or general labor role is preferred but not required.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Forklift or equipment operation experience is a plus.Skills & Qualifications:Strong work ethic and reliability.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Safety-minded with good attention to detail.Team player with a positive attitude.Flexibility to work overtime if needed.Why Explore Industries?Compensation:Starting Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hourReady to dive in?
