Production Supervisor

Job TitleSupervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the production of Steel Prep, Machining, and Loadbuild.The D.S. Primary accountabilities include but are not limited to the following:Ensures a safe work environment for all employees by promoting proper use of tools and following standard procedures.Trains, mentors, and provides guidance to new workers in operation of equipment, company policies and standards.Measures department and employee performance against the schedule.Maintains inventory records and requisitions ingredients/supplies as necessary to meet delivery schedules.Inspects materials and products to maintain organization standards.Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities between departments.Assist with hiring, training, evaluating employee performance, and recommending or initiating promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary accountability satisfactorily.
