CNC Machinist II

Job Description

Responsible for setup and operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment for standard and non-standard products. All employees are responsible for contributing to a safe work environment, meeting our quality standards, and striving for 100% on-time delivery of customer orders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Select appropriate settings and make adjustments as necessary.

· Operate manual machines as required.

· Use standard inspection tools (ring, plug, micrometers, calipers, bore gages, optical comparator, dial indicator).

· Upload and edit programs as needed.

· Perform a variety of tasks.

· Deburr and inspect parts to drawing

· Understands and follows established quality and safety standards.

· Build tools as needed

· Set tools in machine per set up sheet and program settings

· Set up fixtures and set starting coordinates for applicable axis (X, Z, and/or Y)

Skills and Requirements

· High school diploma or its equivalent and at least 6+ months of experience in the field - Mill experience

· Can read G-Codes and M-Codes Mill and Lathe experience
