Associate, Private Equity Investing

GEC is looking for a Private Equity Associate to join their investment team in Houston. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior professionals to find, execute, and manage investments. You’ll also get hands-on experience with portfolio management and internal operations, making it a great opportunity for someone eager to grow in the private equity field. What You’ll Do Help develop new investment themes and strategies. Participate in sourcing new business opportunities. Review investment opportunities and create investment theses. Conduct financial modeling and valuation. Help prepare materials for the Investment Committee. Manage portfolio companies and attend board meetings. Support internal fund operations. What You Need At least six months of experience in investment banking, private equity, or related fields. Strong ties to Texas or willingness to relocate. Knowledge of financial and operating models. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Self-motivated and eager to take on responsibility. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
