Lead Automotive Technician

LEAD AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN (ASE CERTIFIED) Aa an ASE Certified Lead Automotive Technician you will diagnoses complex vehicle issues, mentor junior technicians, and ensure high-quality repairs and efficiency. You will function as a technical leader, overseeing workflows, upholding safety standards, and often working directly with customers to explain repairs. Must have at least one ASE certification. Operational Management: Manage daily/weekly schedules, assign tasks, and monitor repair progress to meet deadlines. Maintenance & Diagnostics: Perform hands-on, high-quality maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and electrical troubleshooting. Administrative Duties: Oversee inventory, manage parts ordering, and handle payroll for the team. Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, OSHA-compliant, and safe working environment. Required Qualifications Experience: 5 years previous experience as an automotive mechanic, with a preference for fleet or commercial experience. Certifications: Must hold at least one ASE Certificate Leadership Skills: Proven capability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in varying, often extreme, temperature conditions (hot/cold), and lift up to 50 pounds.
