What You’ll Do: As an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be part of the backbone of our maintenance operations, ensuring our properties remain in top condition. You’ll assist with a variety of tasks, from repairs to preventive maintenance, and help provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Maintain and Repair Systems: Work on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems to keep everything running smoothly. Prepare Units: Get vacant apartments ready for new residents with maintenance and repairs. Keep Things Clean: Maintain grounds, landscaping, and ensure snow removal is handled during winter. Support Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and document maintenance tasks. Emergency Support: Be available for after-hours resident issues when needed. Assist in Scheduling, Ordering, and Unit Walks: Being an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor means working with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all administrative needs are met as well. On-Call Rotationally: The team will take turns to manage emergency work orders. Snow removal is completed by the entire team. What We’re Looking For: Mechanically Skilled: You know how to troubleshoot and repair various systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Detail-Oriented: You take pride in making sure everything is in top shape. Problem Solver: When something breaks, you find the solution and get things back on track. Team Player: You enjoy working alongside others in a supportive, family-oriented environment. Qualifications: General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and drywall. Previous maintenance or related experience. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs and other manual work. EPA Type 2 Certification is a plus but not required. Why BAM?
