Adjunct Instructor

Overview Position Purpose: The Adjunct Faculty functions within the mission and strategic plan of Mount Carmel College of Nursing. The primary function is the periodic instruction of Mount Carmel College of Nursing students in the classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical setting. The Adjunct Faculty contributes to evaluating student learning and performance, maintains academic records regarding students' progress, and participates in planning and implementing learning experiences that support learners’ ability to achieve outcomes. Responsibilities Provide instruction in Medical Surgical and Critical Care clinical settings as needed. Evaluate student learning and performance; maintain academic records. Participate in planning and implementation of learning experiences. Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelors and Masters of Science in Nursing License/Certification: Current active unrestricted RN license in the State of Ohio Current CPR certification if teaching in a clinical setting Teaching experience in a collegiate or university setting is preferred Effective communication skills Employment Details Employment Type: Part time Shift: Adjunct Instructor for Clinicals Organization Mount Carmel, a member of Trinity Health, has been a transforming healing presence in Central Ohio for over 135 years.
