A law firm seeks junior to mid-level associates for their Capital Markets group in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets with exposure to derivatives or a strong interest in this area.
Duties
- Assist in the execution of derivatives transactions.
- Collaborate with team members on complex legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft related documents.
- Participate in client meetings and negotiations.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience in derivatives, preferably equity derivatives.
- High level of academic achievement.
- Solid experience in a law firm environment.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Admission to the New York State Bar.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
