The Godfrey Hotel Boston is seeking a strategic, data-driven Revenue Manager to help maximize performance at one of Boston's leading lifestyle hotels. Role Overview The Revenue Manager is a highly visible commercial leader responsible for driving revenue performance at The Godfrey Hotel Boston, a 242-room lifestyle hotel in the heart of downtown Boston. This role develops and executes pricing, forecasting, inventory, and distribution strategies that maximize total hotel revenue, profitability, and market share while supporting the hotel's overall commercial objectives. Working closely with the General Manager, Director of Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams, the Revenue Manager serves as the hotel's revenue management expert, translating market intelligence and performance data into commercial strategies that strengthen the hotel's competitive position and deliver measurable business results. As a newly created position driven by the continued growth of The Godfrey Hotel Boston and Dean Group, you'll join an experienced, collaborative Commercial team working alongside tenured leaders across Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, and Hotel Operations. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially minded, and naturally curious, with the ability to translate data into actionable business strategies. They enjoy balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced hospitality environment where teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement are valued. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute pricing and inventory strategies. Optimize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and market share. Adapt strategies to changing market demand. Monitor market trends, citywide events, and competitors. Analyze STR reports, booking pace, and pricing. Identify commercial opportunities and risks. Manage pricing across all market segments and channels. Optimize distribution mix and maintain rate integrity. Evaluate promotions and revenue opportunities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts. Support annual budgeting and financial planning. Analyze forecast variances and recommend improvements. Partner with Sales on group strategy and displacement analysis. Collaborate with Marketing and Operations on commercial initiatives. Support annual RFP, budgeting, and commercial planning efforts. Revenue Systems & Technology Manage RMS, PMS, CRS, and distribution platforms. Maintain system accuracy and data integrity. Improve processes through technology and automation. Reporting & Communication Deliver revenue reporting and commercial analysis. Present forecasts, performance, and market insights. Communicate strategic recommendations to leadership. Stakeholder Management Partner with hotel leadership and Commercial teams. Collaborate with Dean Group Commercial, Revenue, and Distribution teams. Build relationships with distribution partners and industry contacts. Serve as the hotel's revenue management expert. Required Qualifications Hospitality experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, or Hotel Operations strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Opera Cloud, Delphi, Cvent, TravelClick/Amadeus, Duetto, Lighthouse, or similar commercial platforms preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate business insights effectively. Self-motivated, resourceful, and passionate about commercial strategy, revenue optimization, and hospitality. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Salary Range: $75,000–$90,500 annually, commensurate with skills and experience.
