Inside Sales Specialist

Full-Time | In-Person | $24-$27 per hour, depending on experience
About the Role

Energy Center-Manhattan Pool has served Manhattan and the surrounding communities for more than 20 years. We help homeowners create comfortable, enjoyable spaces with swimming pools, spas, fireplaces and stoves, grills and smokers, and outdoor living products.

We are looking for a Inside Sales Specialist to join our team and grow into the role.

You do not need to be an experienced construction estimator or pool expert to be successful here. If you are organized, comfortable talking with customers, willing to learn, and good at following through, we can teach you our products, estimating process, and sales approach.

This role combines customer service, sales support, estimating, follow-up, and project coordination. You'll work directly with customers to understand what they are looking for, help prepare pricing and estimates, answer questions, and keep projects moving through the sales process.

Our approach is simple: understand the customer, provide the right solution, prepare an accurate estimate, and follow through.

• Meet with customers and learn about their project goals, preferences, and budget.

• Help customers understand available products and options.

• Build strong customer relationships through friendly, professional communication.

• Learn how to prepare estimates, proposals, and project pricing.

• Explain pricing, product options, project considerations, and next steps with support from the team.

• Follow up with customers and leads by phone, email, and other appropriate channels.

• Make outbound calls to company-provided leads and customers who have expressed interest in our products or services.

• Enter and maintain customer information in our CRM.

• Keep track of follow-ups, estimates, appointments, and customer commitments.

• Work with the team to help ensure a smooth transition from the sale to the project or installation.

• Learn our products, installation processes, estimating systems, and home-improvement services.

We are more interested in finding the right person than someone who has done this exact job before.

You may be a good fit if you have:

• Experience working with customers in retail, hospitality, customer service, inside sales, office administration, or a similar role.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• A friendly, professional approach when working with customers.

• Good organization and attention to detail.

• The ability to follow up consistently and keep track of multiple customers or projects.

• Comfort learning new products, software, pricing, and processes.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn a CRM system.

• A willingness to ask questions, learn, and take ownership of your work.

• The ability to work independently while also being part of a team.

Experience in construction, remodeling, home improvement, building materials, landscaping, outdoor living, pools, spas, kitchens and baths, estimating, or project-based sales is helpful, but not required .

We will train the right person on our products, estimating process, CRM, and sales approach.

Success in this role is about being dependable, organized, responsive, and willing to learn.
