• Patient Volume: 10K projected annual ED volume
\n
• Coverage Model: Single physician coverage
\n
• Number of Beds: Freestanding ED with 7 exam rooms and 3 triage spaces
\n
• Facility is part of CHRISTUS Good Shepherd system of 5 other nearby sites and clinicians have the opportunity to rotate among sites
\n
• EMR: EPIC with Abridge AI Note
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Education: Emergency Medicine Residency training or Family Medicine residency training (with 2 years of EM experience)
\n
• Licensure: Must have or be able to obtain Texas medical license
\n
• Board Certification: Must be board eligible or board certified
\n

• About CHRISTUS Good Shepherd West Loop-FSED-EM: The new CHRISTUS Good Shepherd West Loop Emergency Department opens August 2026 and represents a more than $6.5 million investment in bringing expanded emergency care access for one of the fastest growing corridors in Longview, TX and surrounding communities. This facility offers the opportunity to practice in a brand-new , state-of-the-art emergency department with modern equipment including CT and radiology, streamlined workflows, and strong support resources. The facility is backed by the established network of CHRISTUS Good Shepherd Health System, providing access to specialty services, inpatient resources, and a collaborative care environment.
