Cashier

To support the Cash Management Unit, the part-time hourly Cashier will acknowledge Lockbox and P.O. Box payments, process ACH and credit card transactions, and reconcile payments in a high-volume environment while adhering to established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Reconcile daily Lockbox deposits and match patient checks with corresponding statements Process ACH payments and credit card transactions, preparing online journal entries for all payments received Log and reconcile completed payment batches, ensuring accuracy in financial records Required Qualifications: General knowledge of accounting controls and standard cashier policies High school graduation or four years of related administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams Experience with or interaction with Epic Ability to decipher the differences between credits and debits to resolve system errors
