Job Description As a Security Officer Entry Control Specialist in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Position Details Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Support traffic flow at gates and designated access points by directing visitors, assisting with sign-in procedures, and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding security-related matters. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
