Employment Details

FTE: 0.6 Part-Time, Shift: Nights (7:00pm - 7:30am), Schedule: 12-hour shifts (2 per week), rotating weekends. Candidates must have open availability, as specific schedules or patterns cannot be guaranteed.

Department-Specific Requirement Must have prior RN experience in ICU or PCU/Step‑Down nursing. This role requires flexibility to float within the hospital as needed.

Position Summary

We’re seeking a float pool staff RN to join our incredible hospital-based team and support a variety of our acute care departments. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care with a multidisciplinary approach. It’s an exciting time to be a nurse at MultiCare. Responsibilities

• You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols
• Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS Certitication
• Minimum (2) years of experience

Founded in 1896, MultiCare Deaconess Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hospital serving the greater Spokane region. Deaconess is home to a Level III Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center, Maternal Fetal Medicine program and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $43.85 - $80.58 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
