Collections SpecialistOne of our large clients in Johns Creek is looking to add a Collections Specialist to their team! This Specialist is responsible for collections support, customer contact, account reconciliation, and resolution of credit issues. This role is fully in office, and the company offers an excellent culture and strong work/life balance.Key responsibilities:Coordinate collection activity with plant personnelCollection of receivable items aged beyond 60 days oldReview of Credit Hold orders for release and respond to Credit Hold inquiriesReconcile customer Accounts Receivable accountsAssist with Year-End Receivable Review and processes identified write offsQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Accounting or a related field preferredAt least 2 years of experience in commercial (B2B) customer collection within a manufacturing, construction or distribution environmentExperience with Construction Lien and Payment Bond filing and waiver procedures a HUGE plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a team
