Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess individual patient needs and devise personalized treatment strategies to facilitate the realization of their functional aspirations
  • Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply research-backed practices to enhance every patient's motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily activities
  • Collaborate in Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand in hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver rounded, comprehensive care
  • Guide Patients and Caregivers: Equip patients and their families with knowledge on therapy techniques to ensure progress can continue beyond your sessions
  • Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify care approaches as necessary to keep patients on track
Education
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
  • Pursuing continuing education or post-graduate certifications is highly encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is mandatory
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
