Assembler III- 1st Shift

Medtronic seeks an Assembler III for first-shift production at its Dexter, Michigan facility. The role involves assembling and packaging medical device components in a cleanroom environment, with responsibilities including material verification, quality inspection, equipment operation, and production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create and verify coupon stacks for different bundle configurations
• Use measurement tools to confirm materials and components meet quality requirements
• Inspect components and in-process products for completeness, accuracy, and dimensional conformance
• Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated fiber treatment and cutting equipment
• Maintain production records and escalate quality issues or equipment concerns to supervisors

Requirements

• 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
• Ability to read and write English to understand work instructions and communicate effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality compliance
• Ability to work with small parts and precision measuring tools
• Hand dexterity for detailed assembly tasks
• Willingness to support different production areas as assigned
