Job Position: Assembly Tech

Location: VANCOUVER, WA

Pay Rate: $20-24/hr

Shift: day

Summary:
Provides mechanical support during the integration of robotic palletizing systems. Basic understanding of mechanical assembly, electrical wiring (without power), pneumatics, and print comprehension.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assemble conveyors and associated system equipment.
• Lay out system equipment per mechanical prints.
• Lay out system electrical devices per electrical prints.
• Build small assemblies and pre-builds.
• Replace and repair mechanical components.
• Wire peripheral equipment into panels.
• Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
Knowledge of LEAN Principles

Skills-
1. Safely use overhead crane.
2. Ability to obtain a forklift license.
3. Safely use hand tools and power tools
4. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Written and oral communication.
6. Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

3. Follows written and verbal instructions effectively
4. Manage multiple projects simultaneously
5. Maintain a clean and safe work area

8. Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Education and/or Experience:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
