Salary: $60,000–$80,000 annually (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–3:30 PM

AnthroMed Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support elementary school students in the Schaumburg, Illinois area for the 2026–2027 school year!

What Your Role Will Look Like

• Provide occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, primarily kindergarten through 5th grade.
• Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, and functional school participation skills, as appropriate to their individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy goals and interventions.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered educational planning, as applicable.
• Work across approximately 2–3 school buildings, with specific assignments determined based on program needs and your clinical background.
• Collaborate with school staff to help students access and participate in their educational environment.

Position Details:

• On-site position in Schaumburg, IL.
• Elementary school caseload, primarily K–5th grade.
• Approximately 8:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule, Monday through Friday.
• Start as soon as possible, continuing through June 3, 2027.

Qualifications

• Master’s or entry-level doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Illinois occupational therapy license through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of school-based occupational therapy services and educational collaboration.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• A passion for helping students develop the skills needed for success in school.
