We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team in a regional healthcare facility serving the Southern United States. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care through comprehensive clinical assessments, critical thinking, and patient-centered planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough clinical evaluations using sound judgment to identify and prioritize patient and family needs, developing and adjusting individualized nursing care plans accordingly.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement by evaluating nursing practices and supporting evidence-based changes through research and experiential learning.
• Create a supportive, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff, managing both emotional and physical pain to promote comfort and healing.
• Respect and incorporate diverse cultural, spiritual, and socioeconomic backgrounds into personalized care plans.
• Advocate for patient rights, confidentiality, and dignity, addressing ethical and clinical concerns as they arise.
• Facilitate learning for patients, families, and healthcare team members to support informed decision-making and health promotion.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to implement integrated care plans, delegating tasks appropriately and ensuring timely follow-up.
• Utilize systems thinking to optimize resource use, safety, and efficiency in patient care delivery.
• Participate actively in professional development, shared governance, and mentoring to enhance nursing practice and workplace environment.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
• Support research activities and contribute to the education and orientation of staff, patients, and visitors.

Education and Experience

Must hold a current Registered Nurse license. Previous experience in emergency nursing or acute care settings is highly preferred. Commitment to ongoing professional growth and evidence-based practice is essential.
