Bilingual Lead Clinician (LPC-S/LCSW-S) - Seton Home

Full-time Description Work days: Mon. thru Fri. Work hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; On-call. Work location: 1115 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78210. Mission: Seton Home works to break the cycle of abuse and poverty by providing a caring home, education, and support services necessary to transform the lives of pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children. Summary: The Lead Clinician (LPC‑supervisor/LCSW‑supervisor) will oversee the clinical services at Seton Home, including individual, family, and group therapy. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans, recommending client permanency plans, maintaining client records, liaising with referral sources, and assisting in discharge planning. The clinician follows Seton Home policies regarding abuse and neglect reporting and works overtime/on‑call as needed. Position Responsibilities Actively participate in case staffings and stakeholder meetings and follow up on recommendations. Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional information in accordance with agency policy, DFPS Minimum Standards, and ORR Policy. Ensure mental health services are completed within required timeframes and in accordance with agency policy, TDFPS Minimum Standards, and ORR Policy. Review and approve assessments and progress notes for UAC. Complete and submit reports within required timeframes. Train new clinical staff. Conduct intake interviews and assess client mental health as needed. Prepare goal‑oriented treatment plans, diagnostic assessments, service plans, and progress reports. Facilitate client groups on specific issues as needed. Provide case consultations and/or crisis interventions. Maintain therapeutic services within Seton Home and funding source guidelines. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of client and program operations. Maintain professional and ethical standards as prescribed by Seton Home Program and the professional code of ethics. Model a professional demeanor at all times. Comply with the agency and program policy and procedure manual. Comply with all licensing standards and funding source guidelines. Obtain professional certificates. Attend and participate in all required professional training, workshops, or continuing education. Conduct and coordinate client assessments and recommendations for client permanency plans. Conduct counseling sessions with clients as needed. Maintain communication with case managers on a consistent basis. Develop and implement client tracking and status reports for monthly review/audit of the clinical department. Complete resident outcomes at time of discharge or at 40 days. Complete measurements. Close out client files. Review PSA with residents and staff. Attend weekly treatment meetings to maintain current information and provide support. Identify clinical program needs and develop/facilitate staff trainings within the Trauma Informed Care (TIC) model. Facilitate and track TIC Chats with direct care staff. Assume on‑call duties after regular business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Complete measurements and outcomes on Extended Reach. Assist with auditing case files/ORR Portal. Assist with ratio as necessary. Be sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics. Adhere to safety training and protocols daily, taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well‑being of self and others. Protect the confidentiality of any information or material obtained in service, including but not limited to client names, services rendered, donors’ names and gifts, internal and external investigations, and financial information. Adhere to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy. Take a solution‑oriented approach in interactions and be a team member that promotes collaboration and commitment to the mission and vision of the organization. Complete a 10‑day New Employee Orientation; failure to do so will result in termination. Other duties as assigned by Director, Senior Director or Vice President. Supervisory Responsibilities The Lead Clinician directly supervises Seton Home’s Clinicians, ensuring services align with agency policies, TDFPS Minimum Standards, Office of Refugee Resettlement/Division of Unaccompanied Children’s Services National Care Standards, and other stakeholder requirements. The Lead Clinician reports to the Emergency Shelter Program Director. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in social work, 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience; OR Master’s degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or a related behavioral science with clinical experience, plus 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of clinical employment experience in the behavioral sciences. Experience: Supervisory experience required. License and Credentials: Licensed Professional Counselor‑Supervisor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker‑Supervisor. Reliable transportation. Valid driver’s license. Valid vehicle insurance. Submit to state and federal background check, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry check, and Tuberculosis screening. Be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing essential duties; possess required skills. Immunity/Health Requirements: Must be able to prove immunity to vaccine‑preventable diseases transmitted via the respiratory route if working directly with unaccompanied children. This includes Varicella (two doses or documented immunity), MMR (two doses or documented immunity), DTaP/Tdap (complete primary series), Influenza (annual dose), and COVID‑19 (fully vaccinated with or without boosters as recommended). Travel Requirements Includes 10% local travel and 10% overnight travel.
