Sanitation General WorkerDan's Prize Inc., processes and packages meat product at two production facilities located in Browerville and Long Prairie MN. We have over 600 different meat products; we work with beef, pork, chicken, and turkey. Dan's Prize started in 1986 with 12 employees, and our continued growth has brought us to where we are today with over 530 people.Dan's Prize (a subsidiary of Hormel Corporation) is looking for a Sanitation General Worker at our facility in Browerville. Pay for the position starts at $21.95 per hour + Shift Differential 0.75¢.Responsibilities:Abiding with all Dan's Prize plant safety rulesWearing all required PPEBeing trained in the use of many different chemicalsUsing a hose to clean mechanical equipmentWorking overnight shiftsCompleting all necessary paperwork correctly and in a timely mannerOperating an electric Pallet Jack (in-house training provided)Relieving other Dan's Prize plant positions as necessary (additional pay provided if relieving a higher pay grade position)Following good manufacturing practices (GMP's)Perform all duties (washroom and production) assigned by 1st line supervisor.Requirements:Ability to work safely18 years of age or olderAbility to bend and turn at the waist, squat, reach overheadLift up to 50 lbsAbility to learn and perform multiple positions (after being provided training)Work in a refrigerated environment (35 -- 45 degrees)Good communication skillsHandle a variety of meat products (including pork)SalaryPay Ranges $21.95 - $23.70 + Shift Differential 0.75¢Dan's Prize offers an excellent benefits package.
