Our resort on the stunning shores of Lake Superior is seeking a Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. You'll ensure that all guest rooms and common areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and comfort. If you have passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail, we want you on our team!

Essential Functions:

• Organize & Prioritize: Obtain a list of units and spaces to be cleaned and organize your tasks efficiently.
• Quality Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, units, and common areas within set time limits and goals.
• Guest Interaction: Respond to owners, guests, and others regarding housekeeping issues.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Less than one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, hear, use hands, reach, climb, stoop and kneel. The employee will seldom be required to talk and taste and/or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. The employee must be able to work at a fast pace for extended periods of time in a high-pressure environment.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet, hot, or humid conditions, chemicals or solutions, fumes or airborne particles and moderate noise conditions. The employee will seldom be exposed to high or precarious places.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, the employee may be required to work varying schedules that reflect the business needs of the resort. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
