Building Maintenance Technician

About the Role The Building Maintenance Technician will be responsible for Preventative Maintenance on building equipment primarily in DC/VA. This is a mobile position that requires driving to different locations in DC and VA. The Building Maintenance Technician will conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of the system and associated equipment. Location : Washington, DC/VA Hours : 7:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Friday) Salary : $25 per hour Mileage paid Reliable transportation, mileage paid. On-call duties as required. Responsibilities : Preventative maintenance on equipment, change filters, ballast, light bulbs, flush valves, toilet repairs, etc. Maintain clean, orderly, and safe work areas and comply with all generally recognized safety procedures Other related responsibilities as assigned You Should Have Qualifications Must have reliable transportation Good driving record High school diploma or GED preferred Commercial building experience and operations knowledge Universal CFC a plus EOE, including disability/veterans
