We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician with an interest in specialty practice. The Licensed Veterinary Technician at TACC is a vital member of the practice management team. This role must be able to effectively lead and supervise by being organized, professional at all times, be an efficient communicator, and work well with veterinarians and other team members, both clinical and administrative. The position is essential in ensuring accurate, efficient and timely completion of daily clinical duties and responsibilities. The Tech also facilitates the flow of communication between doctors, the practice manager and clinical team members. This position also performs all of the duties of a licensed veterinary technician. In addition to traditional Veterinary Technician duties, you will participate in: Advanced history taking Advanced imaging, including Echocardiograms Conducting physical examinations and patient assessments Rounding with the doctor on cases using learned cardiology knowledge Providing consistently compassionate care for our patients Interested LVTs may have the opportunity to train under the Cardiologist and join the mobile TACC team. What We Offer The pay range for this role is $30 - $36/hr $7,500 Sign-On Bonus based on experience Full time 4 day work week schedule: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday. Start time at 10:15am Monday and Tuesday, and 8:15am Thursday and Friday No weekends, no nights, no on-call, no major holidays Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage
